Kingdom of Heavenly delights

worldpeace_and_aspeedboat [can't do trackback on For Battle! for some bizarre reason --- scroll down to June 16th] made me want to see Kingdom of Heaven (I was a bit burnt by Troy, so have been avoiding the big historical films), so I went to the holy sanctum of the ANU Film Group and got my fill. Tomorrow I'm wearing khol. Lots of it, nicely smudged to show off my piercing green eyes. And a scarf or two. Since it's Canberra and July, they'll probably be thick woolley ones, not nice floaty ones, but never mind.

I'm not saying the plot was anything wild, but the photography and art decisions were exquisite.

With a spoon!

Oh I agree with you about the movie.

I was just thinking of you, with the green eyes, khol, you hair in braids, smiling as you drunkenly weave at high speed towards me on your bike.

So to speak...

Ahhh yes. Duckie's polystyrene helmet. It's a helmet with the attractive bits removed. It is a head shapped esky with all the charm and sexiness of a Lada.

Somehow the juxtaposition of the alluring green and khol eyed woman who wears the insides of a stackhat is too much.
I shall replace my jaw.

Look, I just can't find a new helmet that fits in with my new look (which, when you ride through Canberra cold, transforms to tres chic Panda eyes).

Hi Fyodor, nice to feel your ethereal presence.
