Blog meeting

So here I am, sitting in The Standard just off Brunswick Street, sitting at a table with a number of bloggers. Despite the huge storm today (that delayed our plan by two hours), there is no rain, and there is a ginger cat that prowls the pub and wood everyone. Auspicious signs for the wedding tomorrow.

I have, as you may be able to tell, quaffed a lot of verdello, compliments of Nabakov.

More soon!

I did not know you and Zoe were coming down, I might have made a stronger case for a leave pass. Hope you're enjoying Brunnie...

Sorry to have missed your company but it is a bit of a crazy week. Glad to here you landed safely (eventually) and didn't get struck by lightening like the flight from Tassie. Will be back at the same venue for sunday lunch to meet dear tig tog and any other stragglers who couldn't make friday. I think you are already spoken for but if for any reason you are at a loose end, check the facebook invite grogmeet you had an invite too.

Give the bride and groom a hug for me :)

Nice pub. I used to live round the corner when I was a young feller.

Have a most celebrational weekend.

Sorry I could not get there Duck and Z. I have been unwell and had a comedy event to catch up on which could not be postponed.
I am sure if Nabs, David, El and verdelho were all involved that you had a swell time, and very pleased that the rain has held off for the wedding today.

You sneaky bugger. Whilst I thought you were complaining about the cost of the iPhone thingy plan you were secretly twittblogging in between sips of alcopops.

She was, too. I read it on my iPhone in my hotel bed a kilometre or two away after I got back from the dinner I'd been at, and nearly got up and dressed again to come out to the pub to kick on for a bit, but prudence overcame me.
