Welcome to my blog, if you've come here after reading about me in the Otago Daily Times. (That's a direct link to the article.)
This is the personal section of Ampersand Duck, and you'll find a mixture of things, ranging from printing adventures through to things that might be a bit hard to read, and even further down to absolute fluff, like this:
The 'real' or more formal writing about my work is at my website. I quite often direct people there if they have more refined sensibilities.
Otherwise, enjoy, hang around, leave a comment or two.
Postscript: and my goodness, I've been made into an instructional video by some earnest Bibliography students!

I love the shots of your graceful hands working - you have beautiful hands and arms
The bibliography students did a great job on the video of your process. I have just recently come across your blog and am fascinated by your work. Your layouts are interesting and your contrast grand.
Thanks for sharing.
I love the cat whispering "no". Only 2 sleeps to go before I can say NO/NOPE/CERTAINLY NOT - hope everyone (or at least enough) agrees.
Is it my eyes, or does it say Stephen EdgUr at the bottom of the Stephen Edgar poem on your other site? Just curious...
Gillian
P.S. Love reading about your work
No, you're right, Gillian (welcome!). But it's a placeholder, because I'd run out of cap As. I've printed the title separately so that I can use the A from it! Good spotting :)
And hi Jo, thank for commenting!
Shucks, Naomi. I just see the blisters and bruises :)
yay, Carol, you go girl.
cool video!
I was worried that you appeared headless for most of it - but fortunately at the end POP there was a head on the body..... so reassuring
(still lovin' that red 'M')
Loved the video - you are a very good teacher. Am so happy to see you're having a great time in NZ.
